Closed extension group service

Description

This service lets the admin of the PBX restrict the ability to make calls to one or more extensions to a list of enabled extensions.

If an extension belongs to a closed group, it can be contacted only by the users authorized to make calls to the group.

Configuration

The service can be configured in the configuration page of the extension under the Closed Extension Groups section. In this section you can set which groups the extension belongs to and which groups it is authorized to make calls to.

Example

Extension 101 belongs to group 1 and is authorized to call groups 1 and 2.

Impostare invece per l’interno 102 l’appartenenza al gruppo 2 e l’autorizzazione alla chiamata solo per il gruppo 2.

Effettuando una chiamata da 101 a 102 questa viene correttamente instaurata.

Se invece si effettua la chiamata da 102 a 101 la chiamata non viene instaurata poichè 102 non è autorizzato alla chiamata su un gruppo di interni a cui appartiene 101.
