The audio conference section is comprised of two pages: List of MeetMe rooms and List of MeetMe room operative parameters.

The first lets you create new MeetMe rooms and shows a list of existing ones, showing state, number, and name for each, as well as Edit and Delete options. The second lets you edit the access and configuration settings.

Specifically, this page lets you assign control of each room to an extension (private room), who will become its manager and therefore be able to configure it from their own KalliopePBX page. The manager of the room (the admin or an extension) can set an access PIN or an admin PIN for the room, configure flags for the Announce and Self-close functions, and upload an audio file to use as hold music when there is only one participant in the room.

The Announce function makes it so that a user entering the room must first state their name so the conference system can announce it to the other participants when they enter or leave the room. The Self-close function automatically closes a room once the last administrator has left.

In order to access a specific conference room, the user must dial the service code (by default 802 but can be configured in the Numbering plan) followed by the number of the room they wish to connect to, then press #. The audio guide will instruct them to input their password and, once they have done so, connect them to the conference room.

L’utente può digitare direttamente il numero <CODICE_SERVIZIO>NNNN*MMMM, specificando così sia il numero della stanza a cui collegarsi (NNNN) che il relativo PIN (MMMM). È ammessa anchela forma <CODICE_SERVIZIO>NNNN e, nel caso in cui la stanza non preveda PIN, il centralino inserirà direttamente l’utente nella stanza di conferenza (in caso contrario la voce guida richiederà l’inserimento del PIN).

Nel caso di stanze private, l’accesso alla stanza dall’interno proprietario avverrà in modo automatico, senza necessità di inserimento del PIN, in modalità amministratore.
