Blind Transfer

Description

This service allows a user (transferer) to direclty transfer a call with a party (transferred) to another PBX user.
When blind transfer is used, the transferer loses the control over the call as soon as he starts the transfer.
If the addressee of the blind transfer does not answer the call (busy, not available, not registered), it is performed the failover action defined for that specific extension in the Extensions tab.

La configurazione di default prevede come azione di trabocco il ritorno al trasferente. In questo caso la chiamata viene ripresentata al trasferente aggiungendo al numero chiamante il prefisso R: ad indicazione che si tratta di una chiamata ritornata da un trasferimento.

Come tutti i servizi in chiamata il trasferimento diretto richiede che non sia stato attivato il Direct Media sulla chiamata in corso.
Nel caso in cui il Direct Media sia attivo è necessario utilizzare il tasto funzione messo a disposizione dallo specifico modello di telefono.

From an operative point of view, blind transfer can be performed by dialing the configured on-call service code (by default #4).
KalliopePBX will play audio instructions and ask for the addressee extension number.
Transferer will then dial the addressee extension number and press # key or wait for default timeout (2 seconds).
In the meanwhile the transferred party will hear an on-hold music configured in the tab Music on Hold.
When the addressee answers, he is on call with the transferred and the blind transfer is complete.

Service can be enabled / disabled in the tab PBX -> On-call services
